All of Asheville’s Public parks are open seven days a week, from 6:00am until 10:00pm.
This passive park with canopy trees is located in north Asheville.
Part of the French Broad River Greenway, this park trail runs along the river.

Designed by the famous course-architect Donald Ross, this 18-hole course requires tee-time reservations, call (828) 298-1867. There is a pro-shop and a concession stand on the property and club rental is available.
Located near downtown, Aston Park features a playground, picnic shelter, restrooms, and the Aston Park Tennis Center, with 12 lighted clay courts.
This 155 acre park is currently being developed to include the John B. Lewis Soccer complex and will include trails, picnic areas, disc golf, lakes, a retreat center, and the historic Thomas Wolfe cabin.
West Asheville is home to this huge sports park. In addition to the basketball and volleyball courts, and baseball and soccer fields there is a large playground, a roller hockey rink, lawn bowling, paved trails and a multi-use track. Future plans include a pavilion, river overlooks, a boat launch, and an educational center.
